Seven Nepalese are arrested for Robbery at actor RK’s house in Chennai

Mumbai: The police have arrested 7 Nepalese for stealing from South Indian actor Radhakrishnan’s house. Police arrested Ramesh (36) and Karan Khatri (32) on the night of November 25 near Gummidipundi bus depot.

On November 10, Neihari was arrested for robbing an actor’s house. They robbery around 220 gold souvenirs and Rs 2 lakh. The incident took place at the house of Kollywood actor Radhakrishnan aka RK in Defense Colony area of Nandambakkam in Chennai when he was out for work. Radhakrishnan and his family members live in a separate house.

On the 10th of November around 6.30 pm, two Nepali men tied Radhakrishnan’s wife Raji to a chair and robbed her of jewelery and cash. According to the instructions given by Thabal Bahadur Khatri alias Ramesh, a Nepali citizen who has been working as a security guard at Radhakrishnan’s house for 6 months, both of them involved in the robbery were arrested. Earlier that day, Thabal had asked Raji for permission to go to the hospital for treatment, but he did not return to work later.

The police have arrested eight people including two women involved in the incident. Along with Ramesh and Karan, the police have filed a case against Shankar (37). Durga (35), wife of Shankar; Pushkar Bahadur (40); Bishnu (37), wife of Pushkar; Pancho (28); And a case has been registered against Padam Sawath (23). Out of the eight accused, only five are from Arunachal Pradesh and all the rest are from Nepal.
