Pokhara High Court also acquits Paul Shah of child sex abuse charges

Kathmandu: Nepalese hero and medalist Paul Shah has been acquitted by the High Court of Pokhara. Shah, who is facing a child sex abuse charge, was acquitted on Sunday.

A joint bench of Justices Dilliraj Acharya and Sridharakumari Pudasaini acquitted Paul.

In Paul’s appeal against the decision of the Nawalpur District Court, the High Court ruled that the prosecution claim was not sufficient. With this verdict, Paul Shah is going to be released from prison.
