New York: 17-year-old Parijita Bastola of Nepalese origin has entered the semi-finals of the American singing reality show ‘The Voice’.
On behalf of coach John Legend, she sang Alessia Cara’s ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’ lyrics in the top 12. After listening to her song, all the four coaches praised her.
After entering the semi-finals, she expressed her thanks to the well-wishers through a video. Also, she has appealed to vote as there are only two weeks left for the finals.
She will perform with 8 contestants in the semi-finals. Parijita’s first audition is being discussed. She turned the chairs of all four coaches while singing the lyrics of singer Labrinth’s ‘Jealous’ in the blind audition.
The singing reality show ‘The Voice’ is being broadcast on NBC television in the US.
