Mumbai: Director SS Rajamouli has announced the production of the second series of blockbuster film ‘RRR’. He has stated that he has started writing the story together with his father B. Vijayendra for the film.
Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, which is also the director of ‘Baahubali’, presents a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Sitaram Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR). The film has earned more than 1111 crores worldwide.
According to the details of India Today, Rajamouli recently said at an event held in Chicago, America, “My father is the writer of the story of all my films.” We had some discussions about RRR 2 and he is working on the story.
Even though ‘RRR’ has not formally announced its participation in the Oscar Awards this year from India, the producers have applied for other Oscar categories including Best Film on behalf of the American distributor.
